Christmas Flip card

I thought with Christmas around the corner I had better start thinking Christmas cards.

Items used:
Poppy Stamps Dies - Small Blooming Poinsettia 902
Memory Box Dies - Holly Banquet
Sue Wilson - Itty Bitty Bow
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Borders

1.  I cut my card stock 10" x 5"
(Sorry to those who don't work in inches)
I scored the card stock at 2.5 inches, and then 5"
The first fold a mountain fold the second a valley fold.

2.  Flip the card over and place the middle of the largest Christmas Tree on the fold. You may cut the right side (outer panel) of the fold which gives you a place to put sentiments inside that show when the card is opened.  Which is the way I have done it.   If you cut the left side of the fold  (the inside panel) you will have the front open up to be inside the card.  In that case don't flip the card over.  Depends how you'd like it.

3.  I opened the card stock fully out then placed the the top plate over the side I want to cut and level with the fold so as not to accidently cut too far when it's run through your machine.

4.  I then embossed the whole tree to get the impression on the side not cut.

5.  Then position your paper with a border.

6.  To prepare the other side:
Cut a wider than needed piece of paper and position it to line up with other side.

7.  Line the tree up and tape to cut out.
On reflection I should have lined the tree up perfectly with the other side.
I was making sure there was enough border to stand out but I didn't need to.

8.  Then mark and cut the paper to size after the tree outline has been cut out and positioned
checked to be in the right place.

Then decorate the way you prefer.
I hope you enjoy making your flip card.  It's really not that difficult.
