60th Anniversary

How amazing that some couples make it to their 60th Wedding anniversary.

For both of you to still be around after all these years is incredible.

Mostly because Bec orders in so there can be a small wait but the prices are worth it.

I love Poppies

Hi fellow crafters, today I am posting one of my latest stamps that I believe I will be using a lot.

Stupendous cling stamp - Poppy Fields

I needed a few quick and easy cards to do and this stamp is perfect.

A rubber stamp and only $8.99 Australian.

Next time I'll add some grass and spend more time with it.

So pleased I bought it.

A Card full of Flowers

Items used were:

Avery Elle Clear Stamp Set- Petals and Stems

Avery Elle Dies- Petals and Stems

The card was masked for the stamping.

Fussy cut around the top flowers.

Flowers in left hand corner were cut with dies and 3D tape used.

Sentiment was from the same stamp set.

Added shading on flowers and liquid pearls used in the centres.

Not the best to try to photograph.

Hedgehog Birthday

Hedgehog Birthday

Hello Everyone,  Have you ever had a card in mind and then end up 

with something totally different?

That's what happened to me today and I am happy I changed my mind.

Items Used were:

Sizzix Step-ups - Happy Birthday

The Hedgehogs are from Penny Black Stamps -  Party Time

Balloons are from Tim Holtz - Mini Bird Crazy and Things

I have gone over some things with sparkling Gel Pens but it didn't photograph well.

Happy Birthday is much brighter than it looks. The Happy Birthday I sponged white card 

(after cutting out) with inks and put clear sparkling gel pen over it.

I'm so pleased with the result I put an 8 on it and will put it away for a grand daughter's birthday.
