Bird Crazy with Masking

I apologise for some of my photos that are not the best as I was creating at night.

Items used:
Tim Holtz Stamps - Mini Bird Crazy and Things
Tim Holtz Dies - Mini Bird Crazy and Things
Dark Room Door - Texture Stamps - Splatter
Hello from the Impression Obsession Dies - Greeting Set
The flower pot is the Jacko Lanten die.
This card was coloured with Copic Markers

I like to stamp fine acetate (usually comes with the stamps you buy) and stamp all my birds on it with Stazon Ink and cut around them ready for masking.  That way they are permanently ready for you to use.  Coulture Creations two way glue, or something similar, allows you to stick them to your project and remove again without any harm being done to your project.
.

Decide which ones you want in the front line and stamp.

Once you do your first stamp you place the masking acetate over it before you stamp the next bird.

This is how it will come out, with the second bird partly behind the first.
You always stamp what you want in the front first and then the birds for the background

Always leave the masking on each one as you go, until after you have done the back ground as well.

Below is the result of using chalk for the background
and children's colouring pencils for the birds.
Birthday Wishes from the Impression Obsession Dies - Greeting Set

The below card was coloured with children's Water Paints.

So you don't have to buy really expensive pens to make cards.

Happy Crafting everyone.  May your 2017 be full of creativity
that will bring many blessings to others.

Wedding Card

Who doesn't love a wedding?

My friend had two granddaughters getting married within weeks of each other
and she wanted hand made cards for them.
This is one of them:

You can't see it in the photo but I had bought a beautiful pearl embossed
cream card stock so I kept it reasonably plain.

Sue Wilson - Shadow Boxes - Mr & Mrs
Frantic Stamper Die - With this Kiss Couple
(I cut three colours out and joined them accordingly)
The flowers were:
Heartfelt Creations - Arianna Blooms
(with pearls in centre)
Cheery Lynn - Baby's Breath
Cheery Lynn - Flourish Leaf Strip
Added a little bit of cream and gold trim ribbon.
Inside I did a 3d heart with gold embossed words:
(Forgot to take a photo of inside)

Happy Crafting everyone.

Have a Happy Holy Christmas

Heartfelt Sympathy Card

This card was for the family of a dear friend who passed away a couple of weeks ago.
Her passing was expected so I bought this stamp in memory of her.
She loved lilac and flowers.

Now every time I use this stamp I shall remember her and remember to pray
for her family on her behalf.

Items Used:
Background: Embossing Folder with Hearts
Penny Black Stamps - Collage of Wishes
Xcut Nesting Dies - Ornate Frame
Elizabeth Craft Designs - With Sympathy
Blessings to everyone.

70th Box Card

I made this box card for a friend turning 70.

The top of the box I used:

Joy Crafts Dies - Circle French Lily
Heartfelt Creations - Arianna Blooms
Cheery Lyn - Fanciful Flourish
Lea-bilities - Flower Blossom (Leaves only)
Heartfelt Creations - Layered Elegant Swirl
Poppycrafts - Happy Birthday Cake (Banner Only)
Avery Elle Elle-ments Dies - Count on it
Pearls, Rinestones in flower centre

Around Box Lid:
Martha Stewart Punch - Deco Shells
Poppycrafts - Bow
Rinestones

Inside Box:
Same Flowers and Flourish.
Cheery Lynn - Babys Breath Flower Kit
Poppycrafts - Numbers
Poppycrafts - Happy Birthday Present with Balloon (words only)
Memory Box - Cascadia Butterfly Trio
Impression Obsessions - Butterfly Set
Memory Box - Dancing Butterflies
Ultimate Crafts - Butterfly Freedom
Marianne - Elegant Butterfly

I made a little box inside the card that fitted the boxed gift inside it with
a lid easily able to be taken off.  The base of the crafted box was pasted down
but the gift box can be removed easily.

One flap had a pocket with a slide out card to write the sentiment on.

Something different, easy but time consuming.
The end result is totally worth it.

Happy Crafting.
