One is fun

This card was for my neighbours one year old grandson.

I like to make them as an activity of some kind.

I figure he'd have fun doing the animal sounds.

This type of card I feel can be for a Birthday as well as being in good taste for a Sympathy card.

You do best with a Misty or the like and there is some masking involved.

Get Well Spinner Card

 This stamp set is fun for someone who has had surgery.

I had to make this card quickly as a friend found himself in this situation the day 

before we flew off to Melbourne and I couldn't go without sending him a card.

Christmas Already

Hello Fellow Crafters

Christmas is fast approaching.

A friends daughter wanted me to make her a few cards 

that weren't religious so I thought I'd use 

Tim Holtz little Gems.

Mini Bird Crazy and things

If you don't already have any of these stamps they are worth

 consideration before next Christmas.

Yu can't see it in these photos but some backgrounds have 

snow flakes embossed with Bridal Tinsel. 

 I have also glittered them up in a few places.

My project in January is to find a better way to photograph my cards.

Beginning to feel like Christmas

I thought maybe it was time to do a Christmas card 

so I thought I'd do a fun one for a change.
The clear stand is covering up the letter "a" in the sentiment
which came from a set of Christmas stamps in a crafter's magazine a few years ago.

Items Used:

I thought I'd make it look a bit like a room with wall paper.

Window is from First Edition Craft Dies - Windows  (There are four windows)

Christmas Tree from Frantic Stamper - Oregon Fir

Clouds are Memory Box - Fluffy Clouds

My favourite Stamps though are the 

Tim Holtz  Stamps - Mini Bird Crazy and Things.

It has everything you could want to 

place these birds in any situation.

They are so versatile and well worth the outlay.

I also used the Tim Holtz Dies - Mini Crazy Birds and Things

Often I manage to get colour in their eyes and the dies can cut out 

fresh ones so they are nice and white.

Great time to buy them with Bizzy Bec having 25% off store wide.

Don't forget to get a card made and added to our challengers.

I mostly use pencils as I feel I have more control with them.
